Next year the regional capital city of Upper Austria is to stage two new and highly attractive public access fairs. On the 27th – 29th January 2012 the Design Center Linz is to host the parallel premieres of two new shows: ‘Ferien-Messe Linz’ & ‘FineFoodDays’.
Johann Jungreithmair, CEO for Reed Exhibitions Messe Salzburg comments, "We were delighted to respond to a widely expressed desire for a suitable, influential tourism platform to be staged in Linz. We are looking forward to a successful double expo premiere in January 2012, as are our many cooperation partners, such as the travel agencies department of the Upper Austrian Chambers of Commerce, Corps Touristique Austria (CT), Oberösterreichische Nachrichten, ORF Upper Austria and numerous other associations and institutions providing their support.
As the organisers of these events we would like to extend a cordial invitation to all exhibitors to take advantage of the great opportunities offered by these two newly designed shows - ‘Ferien-Messe Linz 2012’ and ‘FineFoodDays Linz 2012’."
As the chief representative of the travel agencies, Peter Keplinger, explained at the press presentation of the two trade fairs in Linz, Upper Austria is the second largest domestic market for holidays and travel, after Vienna. The county offers a broad range of holiday and day-trip opportunities to its guests. Mr Keplinger then pointed out that such a wide variety of packages, options and services required a superior quality commercial stage - as provided by a modern travel and holiday show. This will be the role of the ‘Ferien-Messe Linz 2012’. Furthermore, the event for connoisseurs, the ‘FineFoodDays Linz 2012’, provides yet another highlight for the industry. The ideal combination of themes, tourism and cuisine, is a perfect opportunity for exhibitors to either focus on showcasing ‘core expertise’; or to grab the bull by the horns and set up a complete display of the packages and products available to the market AND highlight the many culinary delights the region has to offer.
Exhibitors are advised to organise their presence at the Design Center well in advance. The expo teams have extensive experience in these sectors and are constantly available to provide help and advice to exhibitors on how best to plan and organise their time in the spotlight. Those interested in the ‘Ferien-Messe Linz 2012’ benefit from the excellent advice and expertise provided by Exhibition Manager – Dagmar Langanger (Mag. (FH)) (Group Director: Christian Friedl (Ing.)) and the Reed organisation team. Exhibitors at the ‘FineFoodDays Linz 2012’ can rely on the vast knowledge and experience of Exhibition Manager – Arne Petersen (Group Director: Gernot Blaikner) and his staff.
