Chairman & CEO
Mike Rusbridge's exhibition industry career spans 30 years, taking him from sales executive with Clapp and Poliak (1978) to Managing Director of Cahners Exhibitions Ltd (1982), President of Reed Exhibitions Europe and Asia (1994) and Chairman of Reed Exhibitions worldwide (1996). In 2000 he oversaw Reed Exhibitions' successful acquisition of Miller Freeman Europe to create the world's largest exhibition organiser.
Regional President Europe South & Middle East (France, Italy, Spain, UAE)
Louis Algoud joined Reed Exhibitions in 2000 as President Europe in charge of France, Spain and Portugal. Italy was added to his responsibilities in 2003 and Middle East in 2006. Louis' career has been entirely devoted to exhibitions and publishing, first in his own company Technoexpo, acquired by Blenheim in 1992 and Miller Freeman (UBM) where he was CEO France and subsequently CEO Continental Europe.
Regional President Asia Pacific (Australia, China, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Hong Kong and Macau)
Paul Beh joined Reed Exhibitions as its President of Asia Pacific in 1996. He was concurrently the CEO of Reed Business Information Asia from 1999 to 2002 and is now the Chairman of Reed Elsevier Singapore. Prior to joining Reed, Paul was the Managing Director of a regional publishing firm and before that, a Commercial Manager with Singapore Airlines.
Regional President The Americas (Latin America, USA)
Chet joined Reed Exhibitions in early 2004 from Burson-Marsteller, a leading global public relations agency. He has broad experience in strategic plan development for a wide variety of companies and industries. He also has experience of acquisitions, strategic alliances and has developed new lines of business and products. Chet is a graduate of Baylor University and started his career in journalism before moving into public relations. He lives in Connecticut, USA with his wife Marcy and their son.
Group Commercial Director
Nick Forster has over 25 years experience in the exhibition industry and has played a strategic role in building Reed into the world's most global exhibition network. He joined Reed International in 1980 becoming UK Finance Director of Reed Exhibitions in 1983 and after various other roles was appointed Commercial Director of Reed Exhibitions worldwide in 1994.
Regional President Central & Eastern Europe (Austria, Germany, Russia) and CEO, UK
Andrew Fowles joined the Worldwide Board of Reed Exhibitions as Group IT Director in November 1996. Andrew managed IT across RX for 10 years before handing over to Dominic Shine at the end of 2006. In January 2003, Andrew took on the responsibility for RX's business in Germany and Austria, then in January 2007 the additional responsibility for RX's business in Russia. In April 2010 Andrew took on the additional responsibility for the UK and Travel business, including a portfolio of shows in over 10 countries and a team of 250 employees based in Richmond, London.
Prior to joining Reed, Andrew worked for several large UK based companies with responsibility for IT. For one of these companies he was also responsible for Marketing and Customer Services.
Regional President Asia North (Japan, Korea)
Tad Ishizumi started Reed Exhibitions Japan Ltd in 1986. Under his leadership, the company has grown into the largest exhibition organizer in Japan with a portfolio of 46 exhibitions, most of which are leading events in their respective industries. Tad is a well-known speaker in the Japanese exhibition industry and has been invited as keynote speaker at numerous government meetings, association meetings including IAEE, AFECA (Asian Federation of Exhibition and Convention Associations), JETRO and many other industry gatherings. In 2007, Tad published a book to increase the understanding of the importance of the exhibition industry by the political world, and the government and business communities in Japan. He is also the elected Chairman of Japan Exhibition Association.
Regional President – Turkey, India and Middle East
Dan joined Reed Exhibitions Australia in 1998. He previously worked for Akzo Nobel Chemicals as a Commercial Director and prior to that with ICI Explosives. Dan joined Reed Exhibitions as Group Director overseeing both B2B and B2C events prior to his appointment as Managing Director for Reed Exhibitions Australia. He has spent 3 years in Beijing as the President of Reed Exhibitions Greater China and was later appointed to the role of Managing Director – ISG and Global Head of Sales working from London. Apart from his regional responsibilities in Turkey, India and the Middle East he continues to oversee Reed Exhibitions’ export division (ISG) which serves several thousand exporting companies each year globally. Dan is a graduate from both the University of Queensland and the University of Sydney.
Chief Financial Officer
Chris Rees joined Reed Exhibitions in 1993 as Finance Director, Europe. He assumed additional responsibility for Asia in 1994 and in 1996 was appointed Global Finance Director for Reed Exhibitions worldwide. Since joining RX, Chris has reported directly to Mike Rusbridge and worked alongside Nick Forster. Prior to joining Reed Exhibitions, Chris was a Senior Manager at Price Waterhouse.
Regional President Reed MIDEM
Paul Zilk joined Reed MIDEM in 2001 as Managing Director, and was named President/CEO in January 2003. Prior to joining Reed MIDEM, Paul built and managed the international business of the National Basketball Association (NBA) from 1992-2000. Prior experience included more than 10 years in various marketing and general management positions in the Nestlé group in the USA and Switzerland. He also managed a European Internet startup from 2000-2001. An American citizen, Paul has lived in Europe for more than 20 years and speaks French fluently. He has AB and MBA degrees from Harvard (USA).
